06 Jan Babagannuş – Popular Appetizer of Ottoman Cuisine
The origin of babagannuş, which is one of the most popular appetizers of today and often in Hatay region, actually dates back to the Ottoman Empire . Roasted eggplant could only be so delicious.
- 2 pieces of eggplant eggplant
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of filtered yogurt
- half a lemon Half a tea glass of tahini For enough salt
- Over: Olive oil, pomegranate
How to Prepare?
Roast the eggplants and clean their shells. Chop the cube and put it in a deep bowl. Add chopped garlic, strained yogurt and salt and mix with whisk. Add lemon juice and tahini and mix the eggplant without much crush. Put it in a serving plate and pour olive oil over it. Garnish and serve with pomegranate.
